appmanifest.acf issue, please assist?
Hi All

I recently upgarded my motherboard, CPU and RAM,

However once I launched Steam, I noticed that none of my games (specifically Total War: WARHAMMER II) are installed anymore (the game files are still present in the steamapp file). I contacted a friend and he said I should look at the "appmanifest.acf"...

I have searched the the corners of google for a legit fix to no avail. Would there be any way for anyone to assist me. I live in a 3rd world country and I only have a 100gb of data a month(fibre has been coming to my area for the last 3 years, still waiting), reinstalling the game is going to eat all of it.

Any feedback would be hugely appreciated.

Kind regards,
Pantoffels

If you start installing the game, steam should just detect the game files.

Hi Elitewrecker PT

Nope, doesn't work. I went through the install prompt and I linked the file back to the original game file, an error occurs and states that the folder must be empty before you can install it.

It might be that your steam is bugged out. A fresh install of the Steam Client, maybe?

As Elitewrecker said, you will have to reinstall and this will take some time. But it shouldn't download anything because it is just filesize and hash checking if all files are there.
