It is no secret the orc roster is severely lacking, not just units from the TT but also units for competitive reasons.

Orcs currently really struggle vs large armored monsters. It's very difficult for example to stop a steam tank or a rotting leviathan from terror bombing your lines.

Which brings me to my point, orcs REALLY need spear chuckers, dwarfs had no such problem, already having access to cannons, but they got bolt throwers anyway.


Spear chuckers are missing from the O+G roster and would cover a big vulnerability their race suffers from. No reason to wait for a DLC, it's been what 4 years sense game one?

It's time to bring spear chuckers to total warhammer.

I agree orcs should get chukkas and other missing units, but disagree that they seriously struggle vs big stuff. You have arachnaroks, doom divers, black orcs, skulkers, gork'll fix it, mogrubs marauders, gobbo firing squad etc. Stacked on the max limit of 3 for SEM's, the days of GS being easy prey for SEM spam are largely over imo.

I'm not super lore knowledgeable. But isn't it spear chukkas? The greenskins never spell their stuff correctly.

Spear Chuckers isnt an ethnic slur its orcs and goblins artillery. They are very primitive and savage compared to other races so they use primitive tactics like chucking spears

Loads of races are missing sutff nothing new they need to sort Chaos out bigtime no daemons no Marks and the invasion is a load of ♥♥♥♥ now 9/10 Archon never makes it past Prage im Tk atm on Lego (Arkhan) im haveing to use agents to weaking stuff so they have a chance as i need the distraction :P

Chaos will be sorted out in WH3. Hopefully will get a Grom the paunch DLC for Greenskins and extra units then for them.

It was considered an ethnic slur for decades although it's fallen out of common usage over the past 15 years or so. I can remember hearing it shouted when the KKK "marched" in my hometown a few times in the early 90s and hearing it in films spouted by characters we were supposed to understand as racist. It's a name that hasn't aged well. Whoever came up with the name at GW "probably" was aware of the meaning of the term and thought he was being clever and transgressive.

Anyways, CA should stay away from the unit. It they add it under the current name, people will reasonably call them out for using an ethnic slur. If they change the name a whole different set of people will lose their minds and accuse them of pandering and virtue signalling. Either way, CA loses.

If they want to fill the role you are talking about they should just design an original unit
