How to install the DLC

Hi i own both warhammer I and warhammer II, but i cant download any of the DLC, when i click download in steam on the dlc it just launches the game normally

Any ideas? i need help

It should add them to your library and if download doesnt start by itself which is pretty common try reticking said dlc in the dlc list

Thanks for replying, so i tried re clicking the DLC (Checkmark) in the DLC list on the options of the game and everything shows downloaded however once in game it seems to be not the case since it reverts me back to steam to download the stuff, kind of an endless loop

It actually should start the game normally, if you click download. Especially on FLC, but once this is done, it also should've been installed. Is it Mortal Empires? Did you try verifying game files?

Yeah I'm having the same problem. Nothing is available, it sends me to the store page, I click free download, it asks if I have Steam, I click yes but it's a dead click. I may just return this game if they're making it this difficult.

Yup exactly as bugs described it, im no expert but it looks like its that seperate launcher that launches when you launch the game that may be causing some issues however this issue does not exist in warhammer I, just in warhammer II

Just recently picked up wh2 as well and had the same issue. For me, simply clicking the download button on each DLC on the desktop app added that DLC to the game even though it didn't start an actual download, just launched the game. I'm assuming all the DLC's are 'pre-downloaded' but you have to add them to the game manually by ''downloading'' them although i'm not sure. (This only applies to free DLC's)

Nope. Only ME needs to "download". The rest is in the game, but not "activated" for you by then. It's Steam's odd ways and also because of CA adding it as FLC, not patch for advertisement.

Urgh. Don't ask me such silly questions. :(

All I ever had to do was click on install/add, whatever, for ME and then it downloaded it, after I started the game and quit it. You could try checking file integrity? IF ME is bound to your account already.

Click on download, let the launcher open, close launcher.

Rinse and repeat till all dlc is there.

Try out using the Manage my DLC page on the steam portion for the game. Unclick enabled on all and save. Then pull it open again and reclick enabled and then start the launcher and it just downloaded all the DLC properly for me

wow...very annoying as I am having the same issue. It says all the DLC is downloaded; they are all clicked enabled on the <manage dlc> page....I disabled/saved/closed and then enabled/saved/closed. The only paid dlc i have is the high elves one...the new units and special regiment recruiting are now present in the game, but when i attempt to start a new game with the new elf faction it says go to steam store and then the same path as someone described above happens.
