Dwarf Master Engineer
It will be interesting to see what skills the Master Engineer gets.

I hope the Master Engineer hero type finds he's way into the Dwarfs, the Dwarf's really could do with a ranged hero unit. I always found it funny the Dwarf forge let's you build range weapons but, there are no range Dwarf Lord or Hero ranged types.

There's no dwarf ranged lord but the engineer hero dwarf is ranged.

Master Engineer: Am I a joke to you?

The dwarfs have allready a very usefull engineer, the empire needs them toghther with their different knights.

I just cant...No I will...Ehmm,

There is already a Dwarven Engineer Hero that is ranged, and he is amazing!

Now I would really like to have access to 4 hero's for Dwarves and of course early access to hero's for Dwarfs.

I'd also like for the Gyro Copters to get a serious buff!
They come so late in the game as it is and are nearly useless without getting really creative.
I think they should be beefed up to behave as Cavalry which of course in the Tabletop is not far off from what they functioned as. Its not far fetched or game breaking since these units come very late in the game compared to other units other races get in late game.

Now I might settle for Belegar being made possible to play as in Mortal Empires, its honestly brokenly difficult in ME compared to WH1.

Not rely LoS issue, overpriced, weak buffs the engineer isn't something the dawi get much use out of. And with the huntsmaster lord the empire gets a lord that buffs ranged units anyway and so they don't need the master engineer.

And if empire gets more of their knights they will be more of a cav faction then bretonnia.

The existing engineer doesn't really have LoS issues. No more than any other gunpowder troop, anyways. It's actually a pretty darn good hero if you update its skills to remove the power creep from vampirates and/or add an explosive component to its gun (Endrini are supposed to use hand cannons on the battlefield).

As for the empire becoming more cavalry focused than the frenchies: Great joke. The empire has access to halfway decent infantry for most of the game. Can't say the same for the frenchies.

Look like the dwarf engineer isn't a ranged hero. From what I've seen on this screenshot.

https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steam/apps/1074320/ss_c16d10d05eb2c733d6b1ae0f2fdb7c389e2aac69.jpg?t=1567177107

Why can't a dwarf engineer be only a melee hero? I don't see why not.

And if you look at the hero roster (4 of them i think), you get probably two melee fighters and one hybrid melee and ranged and another ranged hero (wood elf).

^That special dwarf engineer seem to still have a big range weapon on his back though.

Didn't see that. Had to take another look. Look like a crossbow?

They would still have more cav option that would beat out the brets, add to that their other tools the matchup would get lobsided realy quickly.

Frenchies have multiple normal heavy cav options and Grail Knights. Nevermind the Lady's Blessing buff. Empire only wins in cases where they have enough heavy infantry/pikes to keep the frenchies away from their field guns and gunlines. Reiksguard are not a good counter to a stack of blessed frenchy cav.

Warrior priest and demygryphs, the buffs means that grails only do 10% damage and waste their charge, meanwhile your gunline and cannons reck them, 20% isn't enough to stop cannonballs from killing models outright.
