If your PC can't run it, you'll know right away and can get a refund; just don't play more than two hours (hence playing custom battle and not campaign).
Hence why you play a custom battle. The most graphically intensive portion of TW games is obviously the battles, and you don't need two hours, but only ten minutes to figure out how it runs.
Also posting your specs would go a long way in allowing others to say what your performance may or may not be, based on their own experience with equalling hardware.
Ok then, well you're out of luck then, cause that's the closest thing to a demo you can have aside from just watching videos of other people playing the game.
Lucky for you, there's multiple benchmarking tools under graphics>advanced that take about 60 seconds to run, so in fact 2 hours is more than enough time to try out various settings and benchmark them.
