How many times do the warrios of chaos return?

We're in a coop campaign playing as Brettonia and the Empire. 6 Stacks of chaos dropped in at around turn 103. After spending so many turns sending armies north, we kill all the warriors of chaos stacks. We start spreading our armies again. Bretonnia for one pulls them back south. About 4 turns after killing the last stack of chaos I get a message about the blood tide and the stacks reappear, in the same spot, completely in the north.

Is this going to keep happening? It's not really encouraging, nor do I find it a fun mechanic since we can't do anything else now.

By simultaneously you mean in one turn? Or my turn and then my friend his turn together?

it is the doom tide and that means that archeon hasn´t even spawn yet. So they´ll keep spawning till you reach a certain amount of settlements so the chaos leader can spawn... Kill him and all his followers and Chaos is done. If you wanna be sure just check the corruption in your empire. If you have chaos corruption then chaos will return, no corruption and you should get a message that peace has returned to realm...

They need to be in the wounded state, so at least within 4 turns before they respawn.

Yeah its really annoying when you're near chaos's spawn point. Which is why in my campaigns I just cheese them with broken stacks and fight other ai with my actually balanced non-bs armies. If you wall all the settlements up there you only need a couple armies to wipe them all out, cause they don't siege settlements the first turn, unless its like 3 stacks vs a minor settllement.

They're not hard to beat if you're experienced at the game. But the issue is they get extremely dull to fight. The doom tide is almost the exact same stack over and over again.
