Declaring war on elector counts

SO is there a debuff for decalring war on vamp counts or marienburg given they are not loyal to the empire anymore ?

No as neither are considered Elector Counts. You just get access to two more Elector Count slots if you take their capitals. And after appointing an Elector Count their respective special units.

No. You still take the Authority penalty for declaring war on them and for destroying the faction.

Yeah it's a good idea to keep at least 1000 influence in the bank at all times just to prevent secessions and civil wars.

I just wish there was another way to gain imperial authority. Right now I'm sitting on a pile of influence and gold and four of the remaining five elector counts want to confederate with me but I simply don't have the authority because those events don't show up enough.
