Nakai`s Income is low

Okay so my vassal faction that is supposed to manage the temple cities i capture is not really upgrading anything and my income is very low. I cannot recruit a full stack. At 13/20 right now and im on turn 28 and the 1st temple i captured has not progressed at all which i find very strange.

I agree, Nakai's economy is really bad. That vasal is completely useless.

I think the vassal faction is bugged. They do not build anything in their settlements.

u gotta use that skill that boost ur vassal's tribute by 50% every three turns and keep demanding money every couple turns to get decent income if u arent fighting.

I think they're meant to not build anything. If you look at the buildings, it's something special and that's all they get. You can gift them an army via your 2nd rite, but even those, so far as I'm aware, don't do anything unless you direct them to. I wouldn't exactly call them vassals, but just glorified allied wallflowers that occasionally, as per a lot of your effort, get an army (that cannot replenish, so that's a big help in with Norsca and them suffering two types of attrition /sarcasm) that can be of some use before they die off again.

Ask your vassal for money. No, seriously. I asked them for 7000 gold and they gave it to me. I think the key is to get as big as an army as possible and just go ham on everything and anything. Start attacking settlements with your buffed kroxigors and you can get several thousand in post-battle income. I attacked the savage orc faction just north of the start and I had to fight 3 separate armies just to get one settlement. Got over 4000 money and the temple.

You are a horde-faction with a vassal to be able to "conquer" things.....
Your income comes from fights, first and foremost.

With Chaos you are constantly in a negative but you build up a big surplus of favour so it does not matter as long as you keep sacking. With Nakai i find it really hard to build up a surplus and even if I did it would just be spent on expensive buildings so I really don't feel safe going into negative income. I also really don't want to go sit out in the ocean with him that can't be the only viable way to build money on him.

You can ask for tribute I got around 5k first time I tried any attempts since then have failed. It's a real pain in the ass because you're allied with a faction with no armies that can be declared war upon drawing you into lots of conflicts. Hell I don't even find winning battles to be that good of a money maker. I have pretty much all the upkeep decreases and still not really enough to make enough money. Sure I wouldn't say i'm losing the campaign but i'm certainly going nowhere.

I agree it seems really rough around turn 31, no way to raid, cant get bonuses to sacking/razing like other hordes, the vassal income isn't good only the replenishment
