how do i take out norsca as the empire?
im playing as the empire im at turn 60, i have confederated half of factions in the empire, i have a fair bit of income and military, i've purged all the vampires and kicked out all the greenskins and other bad guys near me and my allies

i dont have much to do i think i have 40 turns left till chaos arrives so decided that i should attack norsca so it would be easier for me in the long run, but how do i do it? its so hard taking them out when i raze their ports they just colonize it back and their armies are pretty strong they all confiderated into one faction which makes it kinda harder

i dont want to own norsca cities i just wanna take them out so they would stop raiding me any my allies what should i do?

There's a "Raze" button when you take a city.

Did you even read the post?

Anyways, you're going to have to just focus all your efforts on wiping them out. You are going to have to venture farther north past the ports. It's going to take awhile if you want to avoid attrition.

It shouldn't be easy to lead an expedition to successfully destroy norsca. It can be done however, you need multiple armies, good casualty replenishment and you need to move slowly using encampment

Come at them as a wall of armies, don't let them get behind you and raze their cities as you go. Then they can't return to resettle them (as long as you finish the job, but it'll take a lot longer than 40 turns...chaos will be on you by then.

Remember to repopulate their army has to give up a whole bunch of units in order to repair a razed city. So if you're not going to secure them at least leave armies near to them so when they are retaken you can strike them hard before the city is up and running and whilst the army is cut down in size.

That said it sounds like you need to commit a large amount of forces to the region to account for an opponent that currently sounds like they've got more forces and thus more capacity to skirt around your armies.

Another option is to simply take and populate the cities with a view that you don't care if they rebel nor if you lose them. Just to slow the enemy down. That said an army iwll lose more units repopulating a razed city then they will to basic defenders.
