"Host's game version differs from yours" while using mods

Ever since the 1.7.2 version fixed co-op campaign saves, I cannot get a co-op campaign with mods to work. Even with single cosmetic mods I get compatibility issues while it worked fine before. The mods are also up to date. Is this an issue that happens to others as well or are we alone here?

did you use kaedrin or manual mods?

Afaik, the mods also have to be in the same order in modmanager. Just what I read though, take it with a grain of salt.
