Um... Orcs and gobbos are fungus. They spread spores that turn into new orcs and gobbos. Best freakin' way imo 🤣

This is turning into a pretty sexy thread.

Really old editions, they had females. Then it was retconned into 40k's they are mushroom people that reproduce through fungal spores.

GW never touched on that and I doubt there will ever be any truly canon answer. We know that they have butts though because they take ♥♥♥♥♥ like everyone else and they use it to make religious idols.

The Greenskins are hybrids of animal and fungal lifeforms and reproduce by means of spores being continuously released from the Greenskin's body. When these spores take root, the infant greenskin is formed underground and once fully matured, it would dig its way to the surface under the dome of a shrivelled mushroom cap.

This is the entire basis of the Greenskin ecosystem, producing first Squigs, then Snotlings who cultivate the Squigs and the fungus they feed on, then Goblins to build the Greenskin settlements, and finally the Orcs themselves. This means the Greenskins, wherever they go, will have an abundance of food, slaves and other resources, a moving ecosystem that supports them as they unleash their WAAAGH! across the known world - Warhammer Fantasy Wiki

Nope. Da only boss poles be da one dey's carryin' on dere backs. Made 'a wood, metal, rok, whateva's handy.

Frankly, I find 'walking mushrooms' silly and unnecessary, but it's GW's IP, so...

How is it unnecessary?

Because GW is apparently allergic to females when they aren't dying tragically. : /

Their use of female characters could be improved in a number of places but the orcs weren't really a great candidate for that. Their version of orcs are in large part based off football hooligans in the UK haha

are you kidding there's tons of female characters.

Should be noted that Lizardmen also reproduce outside of the norm (Well, our norm). They simply emerge out of something called spawning pools. (So technically they aren't "men" even though they are called Lizardmen :P).

Lizardmen do not reproduce, give birth or parent young in any conventional sense. Instead, entire generations - or 'brothers of the same water' - simply emerge, fully formed from spawning pools in the jungles or in the dank caverns beneath each temple-city, even those otherwise ruined.

These pools have existed since the age of the Old Ones, and contain a weirdly glowing, magical, primordial soup. Many spawnings are predicted in Sacred Plaques, while others occur without warning, and are always treated as holy portents of great significance.

Eltharion learned it the hard way and had to come to terms with the fact that he can't kill all of them. :steammocking:
