Or wait more than few days past release for the normal patching that occurs in any new release.
If you're talking about the game chugging on your system heavy water areas seem to perform less well than just land, thanks to reflections etc. Turn those off and it'll probably solve all your problems.
and yes during AI turns it lags because your CPU is kinda busy with the AI....
And like I said I have no FPS issues in battle maps and load times aren't bad at all. It's really just the campaign. Can't tell if i'm just more impatient but I feel like the end turn phase is longer than ever
