A question about dark elves and Morathis chaos corruption.

Im playing a Dark Elf campaign as Morathis. Ive made allies out of all the dark elf factions which is cool. Whats not cool when they enter my domain the chaos influence starts destorying there armys. Is that working right? Morathis is the only Dark Elf who uses chaos influence?

Right. If you play her son, you need to untaint the lands. She's special because she's the head of a chaos cult.

In previous Lore, Morathi was knowingly (or unknowingly, depending on which source you believe), worshiping Slaanesh via the pleasure cults. This was later revised, but CA chose to sort 'compromise' between the cooler, older version of Morathi and the newer version by having her 'not' technically worship the Dark God, but still spread the chaos taint, since Slaanesh is empowered by any excess emotion.

No, she gets order debuffs when stuff is not corrupted. She's very easy to play because the corruption helps make the lands uninhabitable for any other faction who tries to invade you but at the same time she's a pain in the ass if you're playing Malekith because the AI is very aggressive with her and she will bring her crappy corruption close to you very quickly.

In the new Lore there are still Darkelves who worship Slaanesh, like the Doomfire Warloks. Thats why Malekith Cursed them.
