No free norsca dlc fist week?

I bought the key for warhammer 2 my understanding was that norsca woulb be free the first week for people who owned wh2.

Y'all need to reread what it said. Norsca was for WH1, came out last month, and was free for anyone who pre-ordered WH2.

Pre-ordering TWH2 only gives you Norsca as a free faction for TW, it states that in the pre-order/early adopter description. It might come to WH2 when the other races do (i.e united grand campaign) but not for a while yet.

Its for game 1 and later the combined campaign.

They said they will add the updated Norsca after the combined campaign is out, because they cannot just put it in now.

Norsca were was a free DLC faction for the Warhammer Total War 1 game if you preordered Warhammer TW 2.

If you own Norsca in Warhammer TW 1 then you will get them for free in Warhammer TW 2 when they are released for this game. They are being released after the Mortal Realms expansion (which adds the other factions from the first game) because they were added to the whole game later and thus were not ready for the Mortal Realms conversion and TW decided to add Mortal Realms on their original schedual rather than wait longer for Norsca to be added.

So you will still get them in Warhammer TW 2 but it will take time -

It's pre-order and first week Early Incentive... but not every shop has it, nor was supposed to.

If you're having this issue and bought it from Steam, then sounds like a Steam issue.

If you're having this issue and bought it elsewhere, did you check it was one of the SEGA approved retailers before buying? Because only some shops have the Norsca Early Adopter bonus, namely those on the list linked in the quote below, and maybe some physical shops but you really need to check with the shop first.

The person is just confused, Norsca is dlc for the 1st game and you can't play it in the 2nd until they release mortal empires.

Norsca was for WH1 and that is what you get. Period.

The fact that mortal empires merges WH1 and WH2 is just gravy. The pre-order bonus is for WH1. The fact that it later on merges in mortal empires is just coincidental and has nothing to do with pre-order bonus.

I agree with what you said...just wording it a bit differently.

I preordered WH2 many moons ago and have been enjoying Norsca on WH1 as a result and played the crap out of it prior to WH2 releasing today.

It is if you buy Warhammer 2 from a Sega Approved Retailer. See my earlier post in this thread for details.
