Doing the inverse of any of these things can decrease loyalty.
Also, probably the fastest way to lose loyalty is for your general to outrank Malekith (same mechanic for morathi?) so dont let that happen.
Recruiting units will do the same thing, so if you have a couple of units low rank and/or low health might be worth replacing them.
theres also a ritual that has the chance to give them +2 per turn
Assassins have some loyalty buffing talents and there are a couple of followers that have a chance to give loyalty per turn.
It is not explicitely stated ingame but in the game files it happens for both.
Have a Lord with a higher lvl then the faction leader and they will loose loyalty.
Sure way to see your strongest lord defect.
