Sudden Reliability hit for no reason
Wow ... so lizardman Hexcoatl suddenly breaks military alliance with me after their 4 ritual AND I got the reliability hit? Went straight from Steadfast to Unreliable.
What in the hell is going on here?
What the heck did I do?

We dont know did you not side when an ally was attacked or maybe attacked someone you had a treaty with not realizing it.

You were a non-lizardman race (assuming you aren't using an unlocker).
I would guess your relations went down because they did a ritual, and that triggered them to break it.
I would think you lost reliability as you were not helping them in their ritual (seeing as how you have your own plans for it). THat's the only explanation I can think of outside of a bug.

It happens sometimes to me as well, especially trespassing while exploring can give you a hit. Besides, being at war with factions you havn´t met, having treaties with nations you never explored gives a lot of numbers to fiddle with and things that can go wrong.

No, I DID NOT break the alliance in any ways or any means. And we have military alliance so trespassing is, in fact, allowed. We are not even talking about natural breakdown of alliance due to low relation.

One turn we are over 100+ relation with military alliance.
Next turn, their ritual finishes and sudden break from their side. I do not mind that they do but what the heck? Keep my Reliability rating out of this. I have other trade allies and trade partners to mind!

I see the problem, you sided with the elves instead of them. You had an aliiance with both one attacked the other and you chose HE.

I am HE :v
The ritual was not attacked by HE at all. Hexcoatl is only at war with DE and they were interefereing each others.

Well, Lothern has never been at war with any Lizardmen. He only attacked Chaos, Dark Elves and other High Elves.

I've seen someone else post the same thing on here. I think it's just a bug where you take a reliability hit after someone breaks an alliance with you due to rituals.

Edit: In case you didn't know all ritual factions break alliances with you after the fourth ritual.

Lothern has been my ally since before and there is no war declaration event on Event Messages as I have showen in the other screenshot.
And even if Lothern did declare war on Lizard, why would I be the one taking reliability hit? I was never offered the choice to side with Lothern upon war declaration at all.

I honestly dont know, I just know before the screenshot you are friends with both and after you are friends with one and waring with the other. That normaly means you had to choose and when you choose between two aliies you lose reliabilty even when you do choose one. But Im not arguing just trying to help you find your answer.

This is it, I guess. Honestly ritual race was cool until this ...

wow unreliable...♥♥♥♥♥♥ big deal bro. I would call CA and ask for a refund.

Basically, a faction that completes its 4th ritual becomes automaticqlly at war with all other major factions. And due to game mechanics, it counts as if those major factions were the ones who declared war. So the game thinks you declared war on them, breaking preexisting treaties in the process.
