Dark Elf Dreadlord Special Mounts, Cold One vs Dark Pegasus
I am having a hard time seeing why I should "upgrade" to a dark pegasus mount for my dreadlords.

Ergh, pegasus can fly and won't go ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the middle of battle. That is why. Naturaly black dragon is the best choice.

Dark Pegasus is more intelligent.
Cold Ones (mostly) are quite stupid.

I'm wondering what the point of the blood cauldron is. It just seems to make the Hag worse. Same thing with the chariot mounts.

Cauldron makes death hag a lot tankier. i mean A LOT. +70 armor and almost half more health. it also gives her terror, passive aura that makes your soldiers tougher and the active baff ability that makes a unit of your choosing figh like a beast. All in all cauldron is super usefull.
Chariots generaly makes your lord tougher and give him ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of charge bonus. They are generaly better at breaking formations and escape tarpit easely than normal mounts.

Chariots have worse stats but generally hit a lot more units at a time so it balances out. Cauldron of Blood is great for many reasons:

Makes her smash through infantry with ease and almost impossible to get pushed around by the enemy. Very hard to even impede the CoB for long.

12% physical resist blood shield. Giving her and surrounding units within 40m a survivability buff.

Another unique ability that makes one of your units rampage but gives them a big melee attack/dmg/charge boost.

Causes Terror. And is also therefore immune to psychology.

Brings her health pool from around 2.8k to 4kish.

beyond what the people above have said, the hag is not your killer hero. her stats on foot are ok for that except her HP, that's why you should only send her at massed infantry not lords (except if this is a defensive siege and she is your garison commander), what you want for hero killing is the khainite assassin. Free tips: remove skirmishing from the assassin and set him to melee. he has fire on the move, but his true damage is the melee damage he does when fighting lords coupled with his poisons. And when the enemy lord inevitably routs, he can chase with the crossbow and kill him. The only weakness of the assassin is lords on mounts because they can avoid him more easily and because he can't secure kills on them post routing them. Good thing the assassin is stealthed so he can redeploy to intercet easy with good prediction skills.

who the hell uses hags to kill anything they are only good for bloodgauldron buffs

"laughs as khainite assassin with 100 melee attack/defence, 600 strenght, fear and 1500 missile damage on the move"

seriosly nerf heroes and lords they are too op on lvl 40 and making new lords or heroes at that point feels almost bad
