Btw, white lions are NOT a replacement for spearmen......
if you seek an upgrade to HE spear units, use lothern sea guard, best frontline infantry.
You mean in the abomination that is age of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ? Yeah.....that ain’t warhammer for most buddy.
Thankfully, the total war games aren’t even based on that crap, it’s based on 8th edition. Age of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ has no relevance here, if it did we wouldn’t even have high elve / dark elves / wood elves.
Honestly, calling bleakswords "specialized in fighting infantry" is really generous to them. I mean, it's technically true, but... yeah, they pretty much suck at it.
You really think that? Executeners, Black Guard and The Knights upgrate of the Cold one Against Swordmaster of Hoeth, Phoenix Guard and Dragonprinces.. There is not that much difference. The Dragon is better then the Black Dragon. but the rest?
Well, phoenix guards are better than blackguards, while executionners are better than swordmasters. dragon princes vs cold one is a bit of a mixed bag. In a head-to-head fight, the cold ones are better, due to being anti-large while dragon princes are anti-infantry. However, dragon princes have better stats in the most important areas for shock cavalry: speed and charge, while cold ones have that frenzy rule that is a serious hindrance at being good at their job.
Yes I do. Honestly, I have not played much High Elfs so what I can tell is from the Dark Elf Campaign. Fighting High Elfs is tough and my infantry get chewed up. My cold ones go berserk and head in random directions. The only units which seem to be worth thier salt is the bow/sword units and the sorceresses. Fireball and Bladewind wreck havoc to High Elfs. Star Dragons kick ass though.
