Have to verify integrity of game files almost every time i launch the game

Idk what the deal with this is and if its a problem on my part or CAs but pretty much every time i close the game the next time i try to open it, it starts to launch then just stops the process before the game launcher pops up and i have to verify the files to fix it which is becoming an increasingly annoying thing to do whenever i want to play

Not to mention how much it pisses me off when i have to terminate the game to turn off mods if i want to swap over to multiplayer

You shouldn't have to verify each time you start up the game; sounds like perhaps you might want to uninstall and resinstall fresh incase something is sort of damaged but not enough to get fixed each time

However before that I'd remove your mods fully; could be that one of htem is causing this conflict and resulting in problems for you.

ive reinstalled multiple times and this has been occuring since basically day 1 of owning the game before there were even any mods.... my only explination is that CA has something ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up that they need to fix. this also happened to me with warhammer 1 but not anywhere near as bad. Im also not the only person whos had this happening to them but I dont think its a particularly common problem

Seems weird though, what antivirus are you using if any and how old is your storage device?

Anti-virus is a good suggestion ; could be you're getting a flase positive froma file in the install which means that your AV is constantly removing it and your game thus has to keep resinstalling it.
Might be reviewing your variou AV programs could give you the result you're after then you'd just have to create an exception rule in the softwre so that it stops removing that file.

It's rare in games, but I've had a couple do it in the past such as Original War.

For a modern game I'd also send a support note through as its the kind of thing that they could deal with now (although if its happened since Warhammer 1 it might be a custom setting you've got enabled/custom rule or that you've got a very rarely used anti-virus software package.

I have this issue with Rome2 and DeI. Not running anything that interferes with it, done fresh installs, manual deleting and CCleaner and everything except formatting the entire drive.

Never did figure out what was going on, at least it's done in a few moments, just a weird annoyance.

i can always get the game to work but it just takes at least 1 verify scan 90% of the time, it only happened with WH1 like the 3 months leading up to wh2. thanks, i guess ill check to see if any of my setting are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things up
