However before that I'd remove your mods fully; could be that one of htem is causing this conflict and resulting in problems for you.
Might be reviewing your variou AV programs could give you the result you're after then you'd just have to create an exception rule in the softwre so that it stops removing that file.
It's rare in games, but I've had a couple do it in the past such as Original War.
For a modern game I'd also send a support note through as its the kind of thing that they could deal with now (although if its happened since Warhammer 1 it might be a custom setting you've got enabled/custom rule or that you've got a very rarely used anti-virus software package.
Never did figure out what was going on, at least it's done in a few moments, just a weird annoyance.
