now what also comes to mind is if the entire warhammer universe banded together to fight the entire warcraft universe banded together and my bet is still warhammer, how ever if we assume the portals opened and every one was at war with each other and how is now stands in both universes it would be a close call but again i would go with warhammer universe unofortunatly
Don't get me mistaken it would be damned close i think if anything i can see cross universes banding together etc so the allience teaming up with the HE, Empire, Brittonia, Especially the dwarfs
the orcs from warcraft would try to reachout to there breathern but be killed in the process or take command if they manage to kill the warboss xD
Undead and vampires counts might become friends?
all in all its alot to think about
And the Warhamer Chaos Gods are infinite. The Burning Legion (for example) is near-infinite. The Daemons of Chaos are actually infinite in number.
Interestingly, Warcraft Orcs and Warhammer Orcs are opposite ends of the spectrum of fantasy orcs.... I strongly suspect they'd be trying to kill each other prety quickly.
Does Chaos corruption have a parrallel in the Warcraft setting? Fel magics, perhaps?
I'm sorry, but despite the massivly OP nature of some of the Warcraft stuff (and I've been playing that since Warcraft1), Warhammer is significantly darker and nastier.
Hah, serves GW right.
I personally think One unit vs one unit Warcraft wins. Grom Hellscream would one shot Grimgor.
And what metric are you using to determine this? The Warhammer Orcs are bigger, more aggressive and more cunning that Warcraft Orcs. Not to mention that Warhammer Orcs continue to grow the more enemies they defeat, while this isn't represented in the game it is in both lore and official artwork.
Imho, just like comparing 40k to Starcraft, it's really no contest. Hell, Greenskins or Skaven alone could wipe out all life on Azeroth without any of the other Warhammer races needing to be involved. Warcraft is simply much more tame(silly sci-fi aspects aside) than Warhammer and there's nothing wrong with that.
I say Blizzard will just increase the level cap and youd have raids of heroes making tries to Khorne in no time.
I like this arguement. The heroes has been masscaring god-like deities for over a decade now, I doubt a few mushroom orcs will be much challenge.

in warhammer you have several lords doing that alone. I love warhammer but the warhammer lore can be a bit much since it tells stories that would make certain lords so powerful that noone could fight them.
Archaon is 1 of them. as of right now and in end times he was pretty much a Demi god
what would give the warhammer races a challenge is the magic system for warcraft since from what I understand its endless? and magic in warhammer all depends on winds of magic. meaning that if they went into the warcraft world magic would not really be possible unless the Chaos gods does something about it. but if the warcraft caracters comes into the warhammer world they would have no chance.
warcraft human empire is better than the empire in warhammer they are also better than bretonnia
the elves in warcraft would be equal to warhammer
dwarfs are better than the warcraft dwarfs since if im not wrong the dwarfs in warcraft is kinda dying out as a race
warhammer orcs are waaay better and waay more annoying than warcraft orcs. warhammer orcs might be killed faster than a warcraft orcs but they are spores. 1 orcs from warhammer dies 10000 spores comes out and will spread. in warcraft its the same way as how humans get more by having sex and 1 loss from them would be pretty big compared to warhammer orcs. overal warcraft orcs is a bit stronger and powerful but they would not stand a chance because of the amount of orcs
undead vs vampire counts / Tomb kings. I would say vampire counts. the undead in warcraft is just undead and necromancers with a very handful of monsters. vampire counts or Tomb kings has a massive size with allot of monsters and vampires. but they might also just work togheter so its that
there is no skaven like race in warcraft other that those rats who has like a light on their head but it cant be compared. if skaven gets into warcraft you will never get rid of them and it would just be more and more. skaven can take out any race in warhammer since they are so many
Chaos vs bad guys for warcraft. every demon or bad guy for warcraft have some powerful powers. the problem is that Warhammer has Actual gods that cant die they live in the void and in the void everything goes its where demons get created by the chaos gods itself.
if the actual chaos god came into warcraft world they would all die. there is a reason lizardmen and high elves do everything they can to stop the chaos gods and their goals. same goes for 40k empire is slowly dying since they have lost so much from Chaos itself. like they dont have Titans anymore (only like 1 protecting their home planet Terra)
there is so much more but you get my point comparing it all
I could also compare the
Dragons
ogres
beastmen
the minotaurs thingies (warcraft)
haflings
I would say it all depends on where they are and fight will it be the warhammer world or warcraft world. if its a little of both then i would go for warhammer, if its in warcraft world it would be very very close but warcraft would win since warhammer could not use their magic since well no winds of magic
...Warhammer is for slightly older kids :D
In the tabletop Warhammer, a powerful monster hero can be two or three times as strong and resist up to 10 times more damage than a 'normal' human, the numbers increase in TW up to maybe a few hundred times, but in Warcraft heros are thousands of times stronger, smarter and tougher than a normal (level 1) human, add bosses and much better healing and Warhammer doesn't stand a chance.
Again, considering the lore it really just comes to who do you want to win as there isn't a common reference to compare.
