Lost potential for an old world Lizardmen start position or a strategic location (like skavenblight).

Oh, an idea, depending on faction, controlling the zone might allow to recruit dark emmissaries or truthsayers with their own unique magic lores.

its a shame really, Albion would have been really cool with all the celtic style humans, giants and the lizard men.

Would be a great idea but I don't think they will ever bother with Albion sadly... (It was really a cool compaign on TT !)

Considering Albion was a failed project for GW it was doubtful that CA would try to do anything with them. The fact that they completely cut the island from the game is further proof of this, imho. It's a shame, could have made for an interesting non-TT faction.

Albion is just little island on ME.. doubt they'll do anything with it.. it's basically useless

Yeah. and that's why it's lost potential. Even if it weren't anything special, and just a small one territory landmass with Lizardmen, it'd add quite a bit to ME in general. Again, nothing special, none of the Albion lore, just an island with a minor Lizardmen faction.
All the other factions are more or less spread out on at least 3 corners of the map, whereas Lizardmen are pretty much stuck in the south, so you don't really interact with them unless you actively seek them out.
If they make it a FLC playable faction too...being able to start as Lizardmen in the North would be worth it. So much potential.
Though, whatever. Patching it in might cause a 80gb download and months of work.

there is more on albion than just lizard men though, the island itself has a lot of lore and its own roster, theres the celtic styled humans and their own giants aswell, its an island surrounded in fog and mystery and its said who ever has tried to get there no one ever returns, they also combat chaos for the greater good kinda thing, albion is very similar to celtic britiain so having them off the coast of bretonnia would be worthwhile, also on the warhammer campaign map you can see the corner of it but its darkened out but its still there, also on the mortal empires map whats the ice island off the coast of the norsca? is that meant to be a crappy albion but not yet implemented as of yet?

I'm not well versed in lore so forgive my noob question but why would the Lizardmen be on Albion? I thought a Celtic kind of civ was there.

Heh. yeah. I know the lore. I'm just making a compromise.
Demanding brand new units, a big landmass with new factions and mechanics is a bit much. Making a tiny landmass less tiny and adding a minor faction of an existing race is do-able.

There's old one temples and stuff at the middle of the island, deep within the fog. Post Dark Shadows established that the Lizardmen took control of it and stabilised the island's wards. The celtic folk control the magic stonehenge wards and ley lines things arround the island.

its a pretty cool sounding place and i think these guys could give albion the justice it deserves, bretonnia and albion were the top places wanted in this game :) just one more place to go ;) even if its small

i think that little island off of norsca lands is albion as you cant go on the island but it seems as if there should be something on it, could be the albion that you was thinking, its small enough for them to add and its around the area it should be so with luck it could be albion

grow up.
also not araby, ALBION! its in the north near bretonnia and the norscan tribes, pretty sure they dont run around in the nude either.

please read again and actually look up the lore of the place instead of assuming we all want nude men running around, there are mods to be made of that and would be used as a joke i am sure, pretty much like you and your "statements" good day.

I really doubt Albion every gets anything. I mean, i'm surprised that they got the "Dark Emmisary" mission pop-up.

Can you name 5 models/units that GW ever did from Albion? Hell, Amazons got more figures and they were for Blood Bowl....

Not enough lore, not enough importance in setting, not enough demand.

Albion = no.
