I was going to pick up the game and opened Steam today to find the game is now full price. Am I totally out of luck, or does anyone know if it'll be offered on sale again anytime soon? Gaaaah! Can't believe I missed it by 1 day.

Just to further calm your mind: There's very likely to be further sales during the holidays or just during a seemingly random point in time. I bought TW:WH1 during the summer sale and the most recent sale was the third in this half of the year (obviously I wasn't checking them during the spring time).

So, three sales in a very short time, most likely still one or two coming up this year.

If it makes you feel better, I paid full price 2 days before Warhammer 1 went on the 50% sale.....
I couldn't do a refund because I already had way more than 2 hours in game, so I was screwed.

Steam automatically removes links that our AI overlords deem potential threats, so no one probably saw the link. But I wouldn't really buy digital codes to use on Steam unless I 100% knew that the one selling them was a legit and reliable business: Sometimes less than legitimate sites sell used steam keys on their sites and the buyer just loses their money.

Yeah, I'd be extremely wary of buying keys from key resellers. Quite a few players have reported having their steam keys revoked because it turned out they bought stolen keys.

ahh FFS I thought it was too good to be true, does anyone know the cheapest going rate for WHTW 2 at the moment or if any Xmas sales would be coming up? happy to bite the bullet and pay full price it's such an awesome game, i have a day booked off in Jan just to sit on my ass all day and engulf the game lol

Its possible one or two sites might go marginally below the £30 mark over christmas, but I wouldn't count on it.
