About Mount Gunbad
I am currently playing as the Von Carstein and I went straight towards Mount Gunbad's gold mine after reclaiming Sylvannia. However, after occupying Mount Gunbad, there is no choice to build a gold mine there. I know that the Brightstone mine building could only be built by the Dwarf, however I cannot even build a simple gold mine building like in West Sylvannia. Any Help?

I had the same issue when i was playing as the VC. After beating Templeholf i was going to go get Mount Gunbad since i knew it was so close, had gold, and we had the ability to settle anywhere now.
My dream of super starting cash was crushed when i couldnt get the gold.

I believe the gold marker is only there to signify the brightstone deposit. Even playing as Dwarfs you cannot build a goldmine in Mount Gunbad, only the Brightstone mine. If you mouse over the strategic marker it says the location only has an important resource for Dwarfs so it makes sense VC wouldn't be able to build that mine.

Nah, it says there's an construction chain for the Dwarfs but there's still gold so we should be able to build a mine here even without the Brightstone mine. But I don''t think it's a bug, I think it's more a mistake, something they forgot about. It made sense before because we weren't able to conquer everywhere but I guess they forgot to patch that in the process.

By the way, the stolen "Gundabad" name got me triggered as well numerous times x)

If you get Dredens no regional occupation mod and capture gunbad in TW:WH 1 then you could build a goldmine.

It could also be a balancing thing and not a bug. Maybe CA thought the income boost would be too much. It is also as others pointed out seems to be something CA intended for only dwarves to have access to.

If you have a real problem making sense of it, just assume the gold viens are really deep or the dwarfs are the only ones with the tech to be able to mine it for some reason.

Nah this is definitely a bug.

The reason I know this is because I captured Karak Ungor, which also has a gold mine, and I was able to build it just fine as the Vampires.
