When does it get an ESRB rating?
This is my favorite series and im getting really tired of playing those first weeks so heavily when the game is lacking of the blood. I mean its warhammer, a notoriously bloody and violent game but yet they still pulled that on the last one. By the time the blood DLC comes out ive already sunk so many hours into it that ive lost my job, my girlfriend, my sanity and most of the skin on my arm because I was making sacrifices to the blood god. I think maybe with divine intervention i can find some patience to wait this time. Ill probably just go find some dark, damp cave to crawl into while I cry until blood DLC comes out. Just would be nice to know ahead of time so I can attempt to hype myself down, though I doubt it because theyve been doing this since Shogun 2.

The Blood DLC from the first game will work in the second game, and you won't need to rebuy it. CA stated this repeatedly.

That's fair. Sometimes it's better to go into something with absolutely no expectations.

Ive been doing that for like the last 8 years or so actually. I dont look at screenshots or watch videos or reviews at all either. I wanna go into it completely blind, way more fun for games I care about.

Strategy games without major narrative though don't have much to spoil, except for explaining new mechanics that you would have to learn otherwise. And especially with strategy games I would think it smart to find out as much as you can to avoid buying/pre-ordering what turns out to be a broken game (Rome 2 launch for example, Dawn of War 3 on the Warhammer side)

And thats oh so true now days after early access ruined everything. Seemed back in the day not as much crap came out though. I remember the first game I did it for was bioshock and that turned out great. I only do it for huge titles that i trust and we all know were gonna buy and have been buying for years like total war, fallout, GTA, bioshock, Dead Souls, Far cry, mountain blade, Witcher, Mass Effect, dragon age, not battlefield anymore lol. Once i decide I want a game i just naturally fall into that state now and its so much better when you get the game in your hands. I almost strangled my girlfriend because she heard the ending to fallout 4 on the radio and told me. Doesent happen to often anymore, thats kinda depressing =(. But its not as much for story its more for discovery, I dont wanna see any enemies, characters, weapons etc. Like I dont even know what races are in total war warhammer 2 and I wanna keep it that way.

Ive had a good few blind purchases that turned out awesome. Ive also had some researched ones that didnt work out ^^

I do prefer researching these days though, with the deluge of deadgames and early access nonsense on steam.
