All biomes?

Are all biomes always on the map atleast a bit or no? I have like 90% map uncovered and we dont have any desert or the doomland or anytinh like that. We have like 60% of whole map just snow.

It's all about landing a good seed with equal amounts of all biomes.
The weekly community crunch or whatever they'll call it will definitely need to have a Seed feature so people can share their good seeds or even just a sticky thread here on the forum with the best seeds.

This is why I'm not too happy about procedurally generated maps. I wish they had a few handcrafted ones to choose from.

Just go creative mode (you can see the complete map) and try some generated maps out, then switch to sp and load the map you like.

My current map had too many high level zones and only pockets of low level ones.

I wonder if I could move my char to a different map. When you go to an obelix in ark and upload your char could you then use it in a different map(I moved from island to ragnarok map that way). I hope this shall also work in pixark, shall test this later.

If you are playing single player, no need for ARK. Just load avatar, and create new map. You of course will have no stuff...

Cleared 90% of the map in SP...and had every biome...except Mountain Forest...the one I was looking for. Not looking forward to having to make a new map and loose all my stuff/tames just to start again without knowing if it will generate all the biomes. Have to agree...handcrafted for something like this would be perfect.

All biomes are supposed to be on every map but from what I understand there was a possibility for an error in the generation algorithm which would result in biomes that failed not being produced.

It sucks not to have Doomlands, all the best gear is there.

Sorry man. I would consider changing servers or getting your server to swap the map sooner rather than later if that's the case. It's annoying, but it would be worse if it caused major issues later.

It might break the game, like we don't know for sure but there might be stuff specific to certain biomes that you need to have to do certain things you know? I would be nervous to play especially with Doomlands, which is supposed to be the most end-game biome.

Well i guess we will go without that :-) The server is already running with a stable 20-40 players. so i will not wipe that. but thanks for advices :-)
