Sweet! Glad to see the music player isn't abandoned. I hope we can get game trailers back someday!

Holy when will Steam finally give the customer the ability to not force game updates without using some hacky workaround even consoles have made this simple

The updates change came out of beta already? It doesn't even work right yet, scheduling updates that it isn't going to download, besides having no way at all to manage exceptions in groups or do obviously needed features other clients offer like changing/locking the installed version and playing that instead of downloading broken updates.

FYI for people who have been setting games to not update automatically, in the manage exceptions dialog, you can press Tab to move to the next game and Up/Down arrow to change the setting, so you can tab, up, tab, up, etc your way through your exceptions list a lot more quickly to get things falling back on the new global policy.

Of course, there's no quick way at all to add exceptions, so we're out of luck if we need to put them all back. Each exception requires a trip through the individual game's properties.
