Dualshock 4 can be used wirelessly on Windows 10/11 with Steam. I don't use mine that way, I use a wire but I know you can connect it if you have Blutooth on your computer.
The Touchpad tends to be a copy of the select button most of the time. But with Steam Input you can map it to anything you like. It can only be pressed I think. No swipes.
The controller audio depends on the game. I don't know of any games that use the controller audio so it probably wont be a problem.
I get automatically subbed. I don't think there is a way to only be notified of replies to you specifically.
I guess I will ask my friend if he can lend me his Dualshock 4 again to test your methods out.
Do native supported games not support the touchpad for the ingame map?
That would be a bummer...
На мечту😁

PLEASE STOP MESSING AROUND WITH THE CONTROLLER SETTINGS!!!
I had to reconfigure the controller setting for EVERY . SINGLE . ONE of the games in my library!
I have Guillain-Barre Syndrome, to which making playing games with a keyboard and mouse DIFFICULT when the fingers on my right hand trembles uncontrollably.
All they did was turn on Steam Input Controller Support globally. I don't think any of the games you have set-up with it on or off has changed. If you had it off, just turn it back off.
I have tried in and out of beta with the same results. Turning off steam input globally isn't fixing this, something is wrong.
