Finally, can ditch the Deck plugins and ShadowPlay or having to run full OBS, if this is actually more reliable than those other solutions and especially if it has customization on top of that would be really neat.
In fact I value this feature so much I'll upgrade from my over a year old VGUI client just for this.

this is why steam is amazing. i really do love steam and what Gabe brought us, its such a great system, i buy all games here, i dont even pirate anymore because of how many awesome features i get in steam, and its all for free! (mostly).
this is why steam deserves the 30% cut. its reinvested.
