This is a strange observation. When you sit around the table playing an innocent card game with your family, is that gambling? You don't play for money, it's not poker or blackjack, just one of many fun family card games (don't know any card game names in English, but in Norway it's common to play lots of different card games for the challenge and fun and for using your brain, not involving any money ).
