Tried it and it kept disconnecting my wifi connection on my Quest 2. Regular Oculus Link app worked fine so it's not an issue on my end. Will wait for an update to this.

Also my game seems to have a different controller position in Steam Link compared to Oculus Link ????

still waiting for a steam ui downgrade because how broken and bloated this new one is. WHERE IS MY MUSIC PLAYER!!!!!

There are other open source tools that do what historical SteamLink did, only better. Moonlight/Sunshine. This is a huge step for VR. Surprised they didn't name it something else.

Does this mean "OR a wired connection", as in: You can use SteamLink over USB?

Just stop. VD is the sole reason we have wireless PCVR. If it weren't for VD, I doubt Oculus/Meta would have come out with AirLink or waited years before doing so. $20 is a steal for what that app has given the Quest community.

All of the Quest VR headsets did via Airlink, it was a separate app from Steam though so it was a bit clunky.

However, it sounds like the quality on the system might not be the best...

Curious - What's the difference between this and Quest Link from an experience standpoint?

Quest Air Link needs the Oculus Software which is like 10 GB big for some reason and is straight up broken most of the time and this just needs steam and seems to work fine
