what was it again?
Oh that's right, LIBRARY REVERT OPTION
Please put in a toggle switch to allow users to select the old library instead of the new one, if they choose to. Come on, Valve, we both know it would take like 5 minutes to write the code for that toggle switch, and the old library was fully complete and functional code. This could be done start to finish in what, an hour? Two? For one person? This is not a major task.
Anyway. Still not buying games on Steam until the old library makes a comeback. I hope it does, I used to really love this platform. Never had a complaint about it. Just like nearly every single user, no complaints about the old library. It was fine. Great even. It was good enough that I'd rather have that without any changes ever than this new steaming pile of garbage.
*don't think I forgot that there has never been a single valve employee interacting with the users in the library beta forum. The overwhelming majority of feedback received was negative, and the old library was strongly preferred, all the way back to the beginning of that forum. Do the right thing, Valve, let people have the library they want. The code for it is complete, you'd just have to let us use it.
You would be surprised how little people care how badly a company treats them, how bad a game gets put out with the intention of everyone being stupid enough to buy it in that state and so on. Look at No Mans Sky, the studio got crucified and now everyones loves them becuase they threw free crap at people .
