Review bombing hasn't become "such a problem". The customer is always right, and when people dislike a game they should have full ability to voice an opinion, relevant or not.


It DOES NOT matter what a developer thinks is fair or unfair criticism. They know exactly what industry they decided to put their product into.

It's the same with movies, food, toys, books, electronics, everything. You only make money when you satisfy the customer, not when you satisfy yourself.

Donc, les éditeurs pourront vendre des jeux buggués à mort tranquillement, puisqu'en réalité votre nouveau système n'est rien d'autre qu'une censure (sinon vous le feriez dans les 2 cas, matraquage à la critique négative, et matraquage propagandiste par des youtubeurs/streamers rémunérés pour dire du bien....).
La plupart de ce que vous appelez "matraquage" ont lieu lors de la sortie d'un jeu ou suite à une (mauvaise) MàJ ou des DLC (vendu +20$ & comme un vrai apport de contenu pour en finalité avoir un tshirt pixelisé et une mission supplémentaire....)
Vous me décevez de plus en plus... j'utilise Steam depuis 11ans (en fait depuis CS 1.5 avec que Steam sous cete forme existe donc....), probablement l'une des dernières car en plus de la censure, tout est fait pour nous pomper notre fric (même le marché maintenant devient une pure perte de fric et de temps...).

Absolutely disgusting.

Creo que está empezando a aparecer presión de los desarrolladores para suprimir las reviews del todo. Y dado que algunas nuevas tiendas online y launchers que compiten con Steam directamente no tienen reviews de usuarios que perjudican las ventas de los desarrolladores, se puede ver que se está generando una presión sobre Steam en ese sentido.

Congrats on suppressing the actual opinions of your users! I mean, sure, some people are going to downvote things for dumb reasons, but that doesn't make the data invalid because opinions are personal property, NOT Valve property. Kay? DRM and EULA are not 'off-topic', what kind of nonsense it that? DRM literally has an impact on how the game is played. Just take DMC5 as a recent example in which Denuvo dropped the framerate of the game by 20.
