PES 2018 Micro Stuttering Issue
Hi, I have just installed new PES and altough my PC has good specs it keep having those irritating stutters.

My specs:
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 1080
Proc: i7 6700k
MB: Asus Maximus Hero 8
RAM: 16GB
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo
Latest drivers: 385.41
OS: Windows 10 x64 also latest update

I've tried every solution I could find online. Not using my gsync monitor option and capping framerate, using adaptive v-sync, borderless gaming, using lower specs but so far nothing helped.

I appreciate suggestions on what to do cause on these specs PES 2018 should fly and not get micro stutters. Just to mention PES 2017 worked without problems.
Tnx

If you have a 144hz monitor, set it to 60hz before launching PES.

so i was like you, so many try whithout result before to find this information:

First:
Low FPS/ Lag issues in Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 Fix:

You need to make the following changes in Nvidia control panel to get your game worked without lag.

Go into your nvidia control panel.
Under program settings, make the game run with these five settings changed:

-Maximum pre-rendered frames: 4

-Multi-display/mixed GPU acceleration: Single display performance mode

-Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance

-Triple buffering: On

second:
Stuttering Issues in PES 2018 Fix:

Here are few workarounds that you might wanna have a look into.

Go to BIOS and turn off hyperthreading on CPU
Go to Nvidia control panel and disable Shader Cache, Power management mode to maximum.
Update Sound and Video card drivers.

after that, i have defrag my local disk c and now it's better for me.

Ps: for hyper threading, you need to restart your computer and go in bios setting/advanced menu and scroll down to find intel (r) ht technology and disabled, save and exit.

you can try, it's work for me, good luck

Mr Muscle mine monitor is set on 165 Hz and when I launc the game I revert it to 60 so that is not a problem but tnx anyway.

Ancelion I'll try your thing with hyperthreading but I can't believe that you need to do all those thing just to play fricking PES. I hope they work things out with an update. It seems that all of us with ok hardware have same problems :S

Unfortunately nothing helps. First solution only brings stuttering down a little and is not often as before but it does not get rid of it. Shuting down hyperthreading didnt help at all. I believe I would need to put a fresh OS cause I'm running out of ideas. Tnx anyway.

I've turned off that, Sonic studio, MSI Gaming app all what I've could think of cause same programs mess up my Battlefield 1 but didnt help. Maybe ther is some app that is messing with the PES but I havent discovered it yet

Set your monitor refreshrate to 59..it works 100%
tininho 008 Sep 17, 2017 @ 9:13am
It is set by default on 59 Hz. Ive run every possibility found online and nothing helped. As I said, only clean OS install will maybe help. I dont see any other solution

You cant change your rfrate or vsync in the options menu..you can only choose a 60 or 30 fps lock
