Pes 18 on keyboard

First time buying a soccer/football game and i thought i could connect my ps3 controller in and it would work. It's not. So my question is how can i get my keyboard to work in pes? Nothing on the keyboard works.

launch settings.exe in you local folder there you can switch between keyb and pad controlling

PS3 controllers are a bit tricky to connect to PC. I didn't own a PS controller, but I believe you might have to use software like X360CE to emulate Xbox 360 controller. There are some guides for that on Steam.

Thanks for the advice you two. When i go to that little exe and under the keyboard tab it has all the controls for it but when I exit out of the tab and get back into the game nothing on the keyboard works except for the main menu with the enter and arrow keys.

Any ideas?

I just played the demo. Keyboard only works in the menu. According to the settings program, you can only use the keyobard and each controller button has to be mapped to a keybard key. That's horrible!

For people who hate playing with controllers, FIFA is a much better game. It lets you play with keyboard AND mouse.

Hello guys, have you managed to solve the problem?? I am in the same situation, I can use the keyboard in the menus but not in the game !?!? Is it even possible to play the game without gamepad?

Hey mate I did get it working. You have to go into the game's folders via program files or wherever your steam apps is located and go into tyhe settings.exe or something, from there you need to manually set it to keyboard. Or just do what I did and buy a controller :P

Thanks for the reply. I managed somehow to set the keyboards form that settings.exe.
