This game is very, very, very difficult.
Well, the game is harder, so if you start ML with the worst 2nd division team, on Superstar, it will take you several seasons to get promoted. Maybe 6 or 7.
I've always played on Superstar. But in the past you could get promoted to Premier League in about 3 or 4 seasons on Superstar. PES was always a flawed game, and much too easy. It catered to noobs.
But not any more. It's hard now.
Also, don't play on Legend difficulty. It's for masochists.
And don't play ML on the new 'Challenge' mode using the hardest difficulties. Ownership has unrealistic expectations. You'll just get fired. Unless you are really good at the game.
That's a good explanation, I'm using a 2nd division team, I now reverted to regular until things improve, I still think the game gets harder as you play, I won the first few games, now I'm struggling, yes harder than last year and the challenge seems to increase as you go through the career.
