Personal Easiest Squad?
I've only been playing for a few weeks, and I've been through Rift Walkers, Flame Behemoths Rusting Hulks, Zenith Guard, and Just recently Steel Judoka.

I played the game without any of the add-on game modes with Rift Walkers (2, 3, & 4 islands + all 3 squad achievements) before trying another squad and turning the add-ons on. Difficulty was set to normal and I don't use special pilot abilities (+1 mech reactor is too good)

This is my tier of success (to get 3 achievements and each level of island completion):
Rift Walkers - Absolute struggle to get to 4 islands Spent about 2 weeks on this squad

Flame Behemoths - Another absolute struggle, but managed to win after about a week

Zenith Guard - Somewhere in between Rift Walkers and Flame Behemoths difficulty...

Rusting Hulks - Took me a week, but I had more timeline resets/defeats in that time frame than rift walkers, Flame Behemoths, and Zenith Guard combined

Steel Judoka - I got a 4 Island clear on my very first run with them...

I'm curious to see what your difficulty with the squads you've done thus far

Henry Kwan in the Judo Mech is epic as hell and takes a lot of the stress off if I just wanna ♥♥♥♥ around, which does make Steel Judoka the easiest squad I've used so far.

However, what squad is easiest will largely depend on which Pilot I use and where I place them.

Like, Bethany has been part of a winning run with Flame Behemoths because she starts with a shield each map, letting me soak up some damage or use her as a bounce point for a quick kill early on.

But the true easiest squad I've run was that time I ran a custom squad with three punchy boys from Rift Walkers.

It was insane, it was stupid, I don't even have a way to quantify how lucky I got, but if not for my own stupidity it would have been a 4 island victory.

Something about three guys mach punching around is a little too strong, man.
I think the S-Tier strongest squads are:

- Rift Walkers
- Flame Behemoths
- Bombermechs (Advanced Content squad)

Rift Walkers are strong because all 3 of their mechs are able to push and do damage. The Combat Mech becomes especially powerful once you get its Dash upgrade. This squad is easy to understand and easy to use.

Flame Behemoths are strong mainly because of the Swap Mech. Once you upgrade the Swap Mech's range, it becomes very easy to kill enemies since you can just swap them into water or lava.

Bombermechs, in my opinion, are far and away the strongest squad in the game. I also think they are the most fun to play. The caveat to them is that they may be a bit hard to use due to their complexity. I'm excited for new players who have yet to unlock them.

Mist Eaters, Frozen Titans and Cataclysm are the easiest squads to play unfair.
In fact, in my opinion, SJ and RF are the worst for unfair, they lack both damage and flexibility.
Below unfair - every squad is good and op.
Flame Behemoths are a personal favorite.

I really love the Swap mech. Highly recommend doing a custom run with three Swap Mechs - it satisfies "three flying" and "three of the same" achievements, and it is very fun.
