The boost is what really ties the whole team together, Napalm mech sets things alight and the other two get boosted.
If you want to put something else onto the Napalm mech you can always put the Heat Engines passive on another mech for the same results.
with upgrades you can set half the map on fire boosting damage of your attacks by +1
coupled with pilots that can move after attacking (Archimedes / Chen ) gets even easier to access the +1 boosted damage .
My issue with them is their terrible start ... been re-rolling Kazaaakpleth 30 times already trying to get reactor and opener skills ... no such luck with they bloated the pilot skill pool with trash skills :*(
For future reference, I'm pretty sure all passive equipment affects the entire team unless otherwise stated. Or at the very least, I don't think I've found a piece of passive gear that only works for the mech it's installed in.
Good notion. Btw, are those mech squad spesific passives ever in sale on rep shops to use on other squads?
Rediculously, soon after making this post I encountered the fireproof passive :D (just immunity, no boost)
Oh man, same, except it was at the end of island 2. It was absolutely brutal.
