Frustrating issues with Steam Deck

This game is perfect for the Steam Deck. It's exactly the sort of game that I want to be playing when I'm on my Steam Deck.

Unfortunately, there are some issues with the touch screen that are absolutely driving me up the wall. When I try to interact with the game using the touch screen, it's constantly clicking on the wrong places.

By "wrong places", I mean that it's clicking on things that are seven miles away from the location that I touched. It tries to end my turn when I touch on a unit. It confirms a purchase when I'm just trying to look at it. It picks an island when I'm trying to upgrade my units.

Sometimes it seems like it's remembering an old cursor position and clicking there instead of clicking where I just tapped.

Just an update: I`ve been running the game from desktop mode with a lot more success. I was previously running the game from game mode. That makes me think that perhaps the problem is the Deck`s fault rather than the game`s.

I'm having the same issue with the Steam Link app aswell. Whenever you tap the screen, it is first sending a click event and then updating the mouse position, so every time you tap the screen the game thinks you clicked exactly in the place you tapped the previous time. :/
