Knocking mites off the mechs
I've not managed to knock a single mite off a mech yet.

I assume that pushing a mech will remove the mites,

Anything else?

Damage, Freezing, Fire, ACID, and repairing will all remove Mites. If you hover over the status effects near your mech/pilot icons on the bottom left you'll get a description that covers that sort of info as well.

Also, pushing the mech does NOT remove mites.

Not directly. But pushing a mech into something to deal bump damage damage or onto a tile that applies one of the effects will still help complete the mission.

Rosie removes mites :)

Descrption of repairing do not mention it. I'm always confused between repairing and take a hit.. And new mechanics and update is still awesome

Repairing does remove them. Usually I don't have time for that, though, so it's better to stand in the line of fire or something.

it is not my favorit mission but it works.
try blocking vec spawns or cause push damage to your own mechs or face tank low damaging attacks.. in a pinch you can punch your own mechs.
Not all teams are good at this, but most can reasonably do it. If your team is all about repositioning the enemy you need to face tank and bloc
if it's blitzkrieg you have to wonder how to get them off the artillery but the other two should be no problem (tank gets zaped, finding 1 damage for your brute should be easy)

and so on.

Excellent point. I was not aware repairing removes them.
That put me in trouble using the Zoltan Pilot. He cannot take any damage in any way...
