DLC!!

This is probably the one game I want a DLC for most, but know I will never get. More Squads/Mission Types/Islands, ANYTHING SubSet I'll throw money at it so fast.

Seriously though, this game is too good to not have a DLC. Maybe we'll get a version a la FTL Advanced Edition? It really is one of my favourite games of the past five years, easy.

Have you tried the Captains Edition MOD for FTL? It's a pretty damn impressive expansion to the game.

Have you modded Into the breach, I highly recommend checking it out, there are several good mods that reintroduce unused content or add new content like a totally new island with unique enemies, missions, items ect ect.

Oh sweet! I don't really mod much but I don't see why I wouldn't in this case. I'm not "bored" but I am seeking a new challenge. Nice one.

This mod is practically like a DLC, adding a whole new island complete with enemies and such. Not updated for the latest version of the game (1.2) but still usable if you roll the game back to 1.1. Actually I just checked and there's a beta version for 1.2, though I haven't tried it and it seems to come in a mod pack and not just by itself: https://github.com/Lemonymous/ITB-LemonymousMods/releases

It is tragic that subset seemingly released this game and vanished off the face of the earth. An advanced mode with more content as a dlc would be an easy buy for me as well. I am also going to look into that mod that was mentioned. Devs abandoning their games and communities is all too common these days. Its nice that the fans will produce content for free, where the paid devs will not.

A completed game is not abandoned. This mindset will always be confusing to me. Does chess need an update? It hasn't seen one in hundreds of years, but people still play it because it's a well made and complete game.

Indeed. Subset Games have the originality of releasing finished and polished games. That's pretty old school. But their quality standard on release day is very high.

I know! I saw! So excited. And it's free! Seriously, can't also wait to own it on Android as well, I already have it on Switch and Steam so the trifecta is near completion :D

When the Advanced Version hits, an Android/IOS version is going to release too.
