Graphics Bug: Green Lines on Screen

I'm encountering this issue, nVidia Quadro P500, no other games have this issue, it may be related to the frame counter that is included in GeForce Experience that I am unable to find the off-button for. When I screenshot through steam the green lines aren't there

Dear Everyone,
Isla of Subset Games provided the support for graphics display problem. The solution is to update your graphics drivers. If your laptop or PC has 2 graphics. You need to update both. The driver update in device manager do not work sometimes. Go directly to graphics manufacturer website. This is a common problem for new devices. The solution worked for me.

Same problem with a GTX 1650

Exactly the same issue with Intel HD Graphics 620. It used to run ok and I wasn't aware of any update in between.

I have confirmed that this is *not* the steam overlay (by turning off the steam overlay in game properties)

I'm on an Acer Nitro and having the same problem. Just adding a comment here in hopes of some solution.

same problem here, any workarounds?

I haven't figured anything out about what's going on, I tried disabling the steam overlay, tried to find the way to disable the nVidia overlay, no luck with either of those options. You might try downloading a previous edition and see if it works though (that's what I had to do to install mods for Receiver)

EDIT: I looked at the betas tab and they don't let you rollback to previous versions :/

EDIT 2: I tried setting launch options to "-directx" and it did not solve this issue

the strange thing is, i have the steam overlay on and took a picture, the picture was good, no problems to see. But on my screen, there is the "bug".

Same problem, I had this issue with FTL and fixed it with the directx launch setting trick, but it did not work with this. I see in the discussions that other people have this problem and havent been able to find a fix. Some people here on steam say updating their graphics drivers fixed it. On the game developers forums other people suggested installing a beta program for intel graphics drivers, I just tried that and it did not work. I got a loading error when trying to launch the program, it said my computer was not supported or something. I also tried updating my drivers and they are up to date.

I love FTL, I love turned based strategy, I've wanted this game for a long time and was very happy to snag it on sale. But I have no choice but to return it. This discussion was started a month ago and no one has a solution and the devs have not responded to anyone, there is no solution on the discussions either, I'm done.

I've exausted all options, I've wasted 45 minutes of my time trying to fix this and I'm pissed. Im returning it. I don't usually get pissed and vent in the discussions but this is really irritating. I've had this game wishlisted for a year and just got it on sale. I'm sure this game is totally awesome but I'm not putting anymore time into trying to fix this. Especially if this is something multiple people have commented on in the forums and the devs havent responded or fixed the issue in over a month.

I have the same problem. Uninstall & install still did not work. Checked local files all ok. I am using Acer Nitro 5 & display GTX 1650.

Awesome, I'll give this a shot. Do you have a link to the thread where this solution was posted?
Maharlika2 Jan 3, 2021 @ 2:57pm
The solution was discussed by Isla in my email. Update your graphics driver(s) if not updated to December 2020 versions.
