Alternatively grab some push/pull weapon secondarys.
You could also potentially use the terrain like mountains or water, or an event like tidal wave which creates a column of water tiles. Enemies won't stand on instakill terrain like water.
edit: Looking it up, it doesn't seem that bad.
Move your mechs such that the enemie is likely to cluster in one area. The probability of there being 2-3 in a row is quite high. Use the charge mech and attraction mech to move the rest into position.
In most of my games 2 in a row happens frequently, and 3 in a row happens sometimes. The only thing you need to do is get them to be close enough that you can make it 4 in a row.
Some other stuff you can try:
Reach the spawn cap so there are more enemies onscreen at once.
Attempt on the final island 2nd stage where the spawn cap is raised.
Hard difficulty mostly spawns more alphas. You could do it on easy as long as you don't kill them all off.
Yeah I know. It's just that your push/pull capacity is very limited unless you get lucky with weapons, not to mention your Brute/Science classes need to be in the right position beforehand. The teleporter from Flame Behemoths would help a lot.
Thanks for the tips, guys. Will keep those in mind next run.
Took less than 30 minutes and required no effort.
Got it using this. Just keep resetting run until you get the spider boss and wait for it to spawn a bunch of small ones. It will likely ruin your run since you're letting the boss swarm the arena, but you'll have the achievement easily. Thanks again.
