Dev, is it possible to ensure that Mafan (Zoltan) does not get a +HP to mech skill when he levels up? Kind of unfair that it would be a skill that absolutely does nothing.

+Mech HP is kinda OP with certain mechs, especially with the Hazardous Mech squad.

The pilot we're talking about limits the Mech's health to 1, so the +2 HP upgrade is basically wasting a skill slot.

With an inherent trait of +1 reactor and autoshielding, dude is pretty OP. +2 HP is useless to him, but I wouldn't say it was unfair.

I kept leveling him until I got the skills +1 reactor and +1 move and now he's all I ever use.

This. He's hilariously OP as it is, and as awesome an extra reactor and move are, he doesn't need them. HP doesn't do anything for him, but then, is there anyone who actually likes grid def?

+1 for preventing Mafan from getting the +HP bonus. Either that or let it apply as normal. :)

Seems like an oversight to me, would be nice if mafan wouldn't get that trait.

I agree shouldn't happen, its an oversight to say the least... but having a character that locks you to 1 HP and giving him a health modifier is frustratingly crippling.

If anything, since its a Zoltan I would of expected it to exclusively had Reactor Power bonus in both level-up slots. They are after all pure energy beings.
