5 tile punch achievemnt

How do you do it?

With Rift Walkers as you team, you need two more power on your Combat Mech, then power up the Dash Punch sub-module for its Punch Attack.

Then just find a Vek that' across the map, go the other end of the map and watch your mech boost through the entire map to deliver the punch.

Haven't done that myself yet, though, since i'm more interested in the other teams.

Sorry, but I didn't understand any of that. How does it boost across the map?

The upgrade for Punch gives 5+ range in a straight line. If you kill an enemy with the punch who is 5 or more squares away you get the achievement.

Go to your Combat Mech. Upgrade it with two Reactors. Power up the "Dash" feature for the weapon "Titan Fist".
Create a combat situation where you can use it.

Oh, didn't get that far yet. Just did 1 playthrough and lost in the first island. Good game though!

I managed to do this one just Through luck, as my mech dashed across the field to crush a exploding blob. Great game!

Just to be clear, you can upgrade your mechs by clicking on their icons on the left of the island region select screen.

I couldn't get the punch dash to work after doing the upgrade.

In the little mouse over it just "works" ... you don't have to press any special buttons right?
