It works on MacOS via Wine!!!

Great news! I could run the game fine via Wine on my 2015 MacBook Pro. So happy this works! Thanks, devs, for keeping the game light. :-)

I updated wine via Homebrew (brew install wine, brew upgrade wine) and downloaded the Windows version of Steam. Everything worked at first attempt.

Wow nice! This means also that it pretty much probably works on Linux as well does it not.

an update, got steam to install properly with the above guide. But haven't gotten the game to run yet.

One of things that is output is this -> 007e:err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.

So that might have something to do with it.

Try installing winetricks? Not sure what the issue is, the game installed and ran here just fine.

I tried to use just Wine but I couldn't play Into The Breach.
So I retried to use "PlayOnLinux". It works !

I just changed "Banished" to "Into The Breach".

Anyway, I hope to help someone by my comment.
