iOS release?
Does anyone know if there are plans for an iOS release? I played FTL on Steam and on my iPad and was hoping to do he same with ITB. :)

So far only Windows on release and Mac OS X and Linux later is confirmed. Doesn't mean Subset Games said no to other platforms.

Giving that they promise an Max OS X release, and their trackrecord with FTL, I think its a safe bet that ITB will be avaliable on apple devices sometime in the near future.

Same way, the linux release could point towards an android release, but not as definitiv....

Im guessing both will eventually come....

I remember reading somewhere, well before this was announced, that their next game would only release on Windows initially to get it out sooner, linux follows, then mobile. Same with how AE of FTL was done. It was only released on one platform at a time.

Just saw this in a different thread and I'm stealing it.

From here http://subsetgames.com/faq.html#itbplatforms :

"Into the Breach will be on Windows, Mac, and Linux. But it will not release on all three simultaneously. As a small studio, we found managing that large of a release for FTL very difficult, so we’re going to spread it out more this time."
