Was that character a reference to this artist? I mean it might just be just a huge coincidence, but I really couldn't tell with the character design and spelling of the name. Also with Non Paradisi (name of an album by Gost) being Gost's first mood to match a drink to.

I wonder if Gost was even really real. The ending implied that there wasn't a supernatural element to the Red Strings Club, but Gost just up and teleported.

He seems to be a supercreature. But in his own way Donovan is, too. Can't leave the Bar, can't die. Just without magic. Or his magix is in his drinks which open souls.

Well the previous owner of the bar died I think, so I think it's more like he can't die unless it's fated to happen.

At the end, Akara implied that it was just that he was exceptionally smart, and the supernatural stuff was him explaining it to himself.

turns out he could not leave becouse of damaged knee
maybe he was hit by the arrow or something

Maybe that's part of it but I personally got the impression that he thought he was cursed to attend the bar until he died.

I choose to believe there's nothing supernatural in the game at all.

Gost I can explain with tech and context.

* His telekinetic ability with the glass: implant-related. We see B do it with objects in Office 056.
* The lighting change to red when he enters a room: easy BT/wifi hack emitting from an implant.
* His face: is a mask, as we see him life it up to drink. His soul is the skull face though when you make him a drink, so maybe that's just Donovon's perception and not his actual soul.
* He vanishes with a shimmer effect: cloaking device in his coat!
* His name and claim to being from "the underground" -- made-up story to make himself sound more interesting. The underground may just be another bar/club. ;-)
He claims he can get anything you want within 24 hours and gets Donovon 2 bottles that D hasn't been able to get in years -- well, Gost could just be that well-connected in town, we literally don't and can't know. ;-)

Cool explanation. But I'd prefer to believe in supenatural stuff there. Just like in GWBW.

How many of you have ever seen the dude in concert? Explored his whole discog? Man, it was a cameo and a welcomed part in an a desert of disappointment for this but I wouldn't look too deep into it. Now he's got a bit of a more public social profile (getting really heavy on IG) but like many other artists in synthwave his bits in the game and his bits in his persona are meant to make you ask questions not have defined answers.
