No need to dig any further for a great game, because this is it. Shovel Knight is an amazing experience with a fun challenge, creative roster of bosses, and decent banger of soundtracks to listen to while you play. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for something to play.

It's so good I bought it twice

Shovel of Hope is an amazing platformer with great potential for 100%, though that part falls flat with specific feats. You go fighting bosses after going through a level themed around them, it's quite well balanced (the only frustration I got was trying not to die the entire game for an Achievement, which as long as you don't finish the stage with that death: it won't count) and is a great comeback to the world of 8-bit games. Whilst the plot is quite basic, it's what the other campaigns built off of. The other bonus levels are fun, along with all the bonus bosses, either wandering travelers or someone like Mr. Hat. Though the Armor's aren't really great to choose from other than the best one: Dynamo Mail, maybe Mail of Momentum or Final Guard, but only maybe.
The only problems with the game are that some relics aren't too helpful like the Alchemy Coin, Ichor of Fortune, or War Horn. The Battletoads Armor (Exclusive to XBOX & PC) is the worst in comparison to the Kratos (PS Exclusive), or the Custom Knight's (For no explainable reason: Nintendo exclusive) Relics, Charge Moves, & Special Moves.
For 100% it's a mixed bag: No spending money, Speedrun, and No Relics are annoying, but 90% of the relic specific achievements are super rough draft, took so long to get the flame wand. They're doable, but not really fun.
