Stuck on Anvil loading screen

So I just purchased the game and each time I try to start the game I get stuck on the first loading Anvil screen, on occasion I will hear the sound effects of a beach but still the screen freezes. I’ve tried updating my laptop and restarting but still the same issue. Is there anyway to fix this issue?
