Hello! You'll always find fellows to play with. Steam allows you to refund the game if it isn't to your liking - Just make sure to play under 2 hours.

You're also welcome to hop on discord.gg/holdfastgame and ask around.

Before the recent update 1 US server full or near anywhere close to peak game time (evenings and nights), since the update there are 2. So yes. Plenty of people play it every day.

Considering how inactive this thread is, one being the devs themselves, that should be your answer. The WW1 servers of the game is absolutely dead. The Napoleonic Wars servers can host about 1 full server depending on the time/day. Any chat/voip interaction is heavily moderated which lead to basically everyone being muted. It's not like the old meme days of 2017.

Game is far from dead, especially if you join a regiment lots of events in both EU and NA times with an average of about 80 ppl per team, if you are interested in joining up with a regiment send me a DM!

Game is dead relative to where it has been.

I'd avoid regiments.

There's normally 1 or 2 populated servers and that's it. So yeah, its basically dead

how is that dead? do a thousand people need to be playing at any time for a game to be 'alive'? This is the only multiplayer game I keep for the sole reason that there will always be people on. 30 ppl at 3am? cool.
At the end of the day, after dinner, 1 server is almost always full and has been for years. What more could you ask for?

I mean in perspective Starfield a $400m+ AAA studio game has less then 5,000 players on a major launch and well advertised game thats considered dead in my books.

Holdfast have a active developer team and 1 that's given a first reply to this post which can be considered very active, so if 300 players on a peak time for holdfast is a success

Game is alive and well with full servers daily to play on. Also regiments offer private events outside of the public servers.
